First time trip to Texas. Vacation rentals

I am thinking of spending a month in the state of Texas.

I have lots of friends that own vacation homes in southern Texas.

Does anyone know of an email site that would list available

vacation rentals that are dependable? Any advice would be appreciated.

Possibly you should consider checking out some bed and breakfasts in Texas.

The Swann Hotel in the Pineywoods of East Texas is very nice.

Also lots of nice places down in the HIll Country area.

Not familiar with South Texas - but you might try Bed and Breakfast.com or Pam Lanier for information in that area.

If you do want to do a Bed and Breakfast, as mentioned in the other reivew, I recommend Rose Hill Manor, in Stonewall, TX. (www.rose-hill.com) It is very nice and VERY good breakfasts. It%26#39;s also close to the old german town Fredericksburg (shopping and restaurants), and there are plenty of wineries all over the area to tour/taste, if you%26#39;re into that sort of thing. and had a wonderful experience with both the rental company and the owners of the home.

The owners of the home we rented also have their home listed on Vacation Rentals by Owner, which I have heard good things about.
