Need help with DFW Airport Questions

Hello Everyone,

I am a frequent poster to the Paris forum and I need some help regarding DFW airport.

I am flying there in about a week and have approximately one hour and 20 minutes to transfer from my flight coming from Seattle to one departing to Paris.

I understand I will need to go from C terminal to D terminal. (American Airlines)

Can someone tell me if this transfer will be easily accomplished in this amount of time? I%26#39;ve never been to DFW before and would like to be ready. I realize flight delays cannot be predicted but I%26#39;d like to know what I%26#39;m dealing with beforehand.

I go through DFW all the time to make connections - often have an hour or less than an hour to connect and am fine. one hour and twenty minutes is plenty of time at DFW. Just look for the signs for the train to get you there easier.

Here is the information from the DFW airport website about times for the Skylink: ';The bi-directional system keeps average ride times to 5 minutes, with a maximum ride time of 9 minutes between the farthest distances. In addition, passengers wait an average of only 2 minutes for the trains to arrive in the stations.'; It will really depend on what gate you arrive in Terminal C and what gate you are departing in Terminal D but you will not have a problem with the timing. Just look for the Skylink signs. Be sure to take the one going to Terminal D so you don%26#39;t ride around the entire airport. But the signs are very clear. Once you get to Terminal D there are many places with better than usual airport food as well as lots of shops if you need to do any last minute shopping. I think you will find Terminal D at DFW Airport quite an amazing aiport facility. I have flown into and out of Charles DeGaulle Airport many times and the comparison of the two is like night and day. Have a safe trip.
