Hello to a fellow firefighter. You are talking about an hours drive with normal traffic.That depends on time of day. If you get on I-45 south around 5 p.m. on a weekday ,you could be sitting still. Saturday should be better. I agree that a rent car would probably be best ,but that%26#39;s without knowing your itenerary. You can usually get a compact for around 25.00 a day if you do a little shopping on the internet.That is cheaper than a cab from IAH.
