has anyone ever stayed at the hilton by the toyota center? is it safe to walk over from hotel to a concert at the center? two ladies goin to concert needing a close hotel,,,,thanks for any inf

Yes, I%26#39;ve stayed there for the very reason you%26#39;re thinking about staying there. It is a very nice hotel. We only stayed overnight (Dec. 2005; arrived in time for dinner before a show, left the next morning). I walked with my 9-year-old daughter from the Toyota Center to the Hilton (I%26#39;m female) and felt very safe. There were a lot of people making the same trek.

My one complaint was that we had trouble finding something to eat. We were with kids and didn%26#39;t want an elegant sit-down meal. We ended up going to the show early and eating stuff from the Toyota Center snack bars - the polar opposite of an elegant sit-down meal! LOL.

I%26#39;d definitely stay at the hotel again, but in retrospect there are other hotels in the immediate area that would probably be safe enough. Depending on the crowd exiting the show, you%26#39;ll have safety in numbers.

Yes, the Hilton is safe to stay at. The Toyota Center is directly behind (across the street) from the Hilton. You just cross the street behind the hotel and you are there.
