Hotels near Hermann Park - North (Garden Center)

We are attending a wedding in March 2007 that will be held at the Hermann Park rose garden and need a hotel in the area. We%26#39;d like to stay in a hotel in the $150-$200 per night range. Walking distance to the park would be nice too.

I am also looking for less expensive (less than $100) hotels to recommend to some relatives.

Any suggestions?

Hampton Inn %26amp; Suites on Old Spanish Trail

Not familiar with either property, but Marriott probably your better bet. Since you have some time, will the Hotel Zaza but you on a waitlist?

Also, you could explore downtown... which is only a few miles away, to where you could take a taxi or the light rail to the medical center/Herman park area.

The Warwick would have been great for its location and general luxury, but unfortunately Warwick = ZaZa. They%26#39;ve gone for some sort of hipper remodeling scheme and apparently won%26#39;t be open for a couple of more months.

You can try downtown and ride light rail to the Park. Residence Inn, Courtyard by Marriot, Magnolia, Hotel Icon (pricey boutique hotel).
