Corporate/Short term housing-dog friendly

Does anyone have any recomendations for short term or corporate housing? I am relocating from SoCal in early December and I am trying to find a place to stay while I look for a house. Thank you.

I moved from Carlsbad 4 years ago..Unfortunately there is not Oakwood corporate housing like SoCal...I know of a couple of places like In-Town Suites...Do your research and I will tell you if it is a great area or not...Have you been to Fidel%26#39;s??...

Many apartment complexes have corporate apts. which come fully furnished and rent month to month.

My mother lives in Ashley Oaks on Henderson Pass (I%26#39;m using this as an example, not a sales pitch) and their corporate apt. was $1,300 a month when I inquired for a short term stay for my in-laws. I%26#39;m sure if you ask around at other apt. complexes you can find similar accommodations.

Love Fidel%26#39;s!! and sunsets on the patio at Dini%26#39;s ...or Viggilucci%26#39;s...

I will definitely run some of my choices by you when i narrow it down.

I just looked at Ashley Oaks and unfortunately they wont take my BIG dogs. Thanks for the idea, i will start looking for complexes that also do the corporate short term.

Thank you for the tips!

Hi...Also try Craigslist.com. There are several apartments and houses listed, where the leasee needs to sublet for a short term......

I just searched some more and Oakwood does have an interest in 8 properties in SA..Most are in great neighborhoods.......

Update:

I just got back from a quick trip out to SA to look for dog friendly housing. San Antonio is a great city and the people are so incredibly friendly. I explored quite a bit and put about 800 miles on my rental car in 5 days. I was unable to find a rental situation that would accommodate my needs for both a short term lease and big dog friendly. I ended up purchasing a home in Stone Oak instead.

I stayed at two Drury hotels while I was there and both were great. I would recommend the Drury North if you are relocating and looking for a place to stay while you search for a home.

A big thanks to all the locals who post here with so much good advice. I definitely would not have had as productive or enjoyable a trip without all the crib notes.

Great move getting a house, and in that area...It can get congested, but nothing like the 5-805 merge...I%26#39;ll be here for you, when you start having 101 ocean view withdrawls and you can%26#39;t find an In and Out Burger...Also do not not if you like to bike, but here, you will want to stick to the trails...Good Luck!!!!

Thank you! although one of the realtors I met with promised they were putting in an In-N- Out and a Trader Joe%26#39;s at La Canterra....

Funny how the universe works: the day I got back to SoCal was an amazing clear sunny beach day. I was feeling unsure about the move until it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to go from Canon Rd. to La Jolla Village Drive. San Antonio here I come!
