Coming to the Houston area (actually League) around New Year%26#39;s and was wondering....good places too eat, and parties for New Year%26#39;s??? Looking for good...like mom%26#39;s Italian food. Just haven%26#39;t had it in a while. Thanks for any info.

Hyatt Regency Downtown Houston has a party every New Year%26#39;s. I believe you can get tickets even if you are not a hotel guest.

Not familiar enough with the League City area, but Carrabba%26#39;s Italian Grill has great Italian food if you can find one!

All these are in the area where you are going -- Check out Portofino - doesn%26#39;t look like much but great food - in Clear Lake Shores right on the edge of League City. In Clear lake there is Franca%26#39;s on Nasa Pkwy. and Perry%26#39;s Italian Grill on Space Center Blvd. %26amp; Pineloch - very good. Frenchies on Nasa Pkwy %26amp; El Camino Real is where all the celebrities eat when they visit NASA Space Center. Owner has photos of astronauts %26amp; celebs who have dined there on his wall. Very casual Italian Cuisine. Mediteraneo has great MIddle Eastern Cuisine. Parties - are you looking for upscale (like hotel and resort organized events) or are you looking more for bars?

In the Clear Lake area - there are some popular live music (rock) venues and the Kemah Boardwalk may have some New Year%26#39;s activities planned - you%26#39;d have to check:
