Our first trip dallas and over the thanksgiving holiday...where to stay...downtown? by the galleria? 2 kids ages 12 %26amp; 13. Help need to book quickly. want hotel with kid friendly amenities. great location for sightseeing...etc.

I would lean toward Spring Hill Suuites in the West End. It is close to the a DART rail station so you can go lots of places (NorthPark Center for shopping, Mockingbird Station for shopping and movies, TRE over to Fort Worth- not on Sunday) as well as the Sixth Floor Museum, Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Museum, Dallas World Aquarium. If you find a good deal at one of the downtown hotesl (Adoplphus, Hyatt, Fairmont, Magnolia) I would go for it and have a great visit.
