I need to stay for one night mid-Dec near UTMB.
Which is the closest hotel,any good one within walking distance?

Hotel nearest UTMB(univ.Texas Medical Branch)?There is a Comfort Inn at 102 Seawall Blvd, about a 1/2 mile from UTMB. It seems to be fairly new.
You can also look at galveston.com to get a map of the island and the hotels there. UTMB is spread out, so something may be closer depending on what end of the school you need to be at.
Hotel nearest UTMB(univ.Texas Medical Branch)?Holiday Inn Sunspree on Seawall looks to be fairly new and gets decent comments on this forum.
