If the Reliant area isn't so good, what do you suggest?

We%26#39;ll be down for the rodeo/stock show in March. Will need lodging for 5 nights. I%26#39;ve heard several times the lodging around Reliant isn%26#39;t so great. Where would you suggest that would be safe and inexpensive? About all we%26#39;ll need is a bed to lay our head at night, nothing fancy.

Less than $100 would be great, we just need to sleep there.

Not sure how much they are, but there%26#39;s some pretty decent places to stay along 59 within the 610 loop. I know of a Best Western, Marriott Courtyard, I believe a Ramada. Also, there%26#39;s a Holiday Inn at the corner of Main and Holcombe in the Medical Center that%26#39;s close to Reliant Park. Those are a few options in a much safer area.

Is the Medical Center near Reliant?

It%26#39;s roughly within 5mi either down Main Street or Fannin Street.

The medical center is near reliant and you would have the luxury of riding light rail to reliant and not having to search for parking at the rodeo.
