Super8 Airport South Irving

Hi. I am using the super 8 motel south as a layover stop for 12 hours and I was wondering . is the area a safe area %26#39; it is a little cheaper than some of the others and since we are staying just 12 hours it would not matter much , but I am curious just the same . Does anyone know what is the difference between staying south of the airport or north of it ?

North of DFW Airport is safer than South.

South is the older area with much more to see and do. Malls, dining etc. But, North has the BEST when it comes to getting a hotel and staying in it. Much nicer and more pricier than south. It%26#39;s quiter too

new mixmaster at south end lots of delay and traffic but, busy isn%26#39;t always bad. Hotels on north side ARE NEWER and closer to Las Colinas and thats pricey and pretty. (big lake on north) (cowboys stadium south)
