Christmas lights on the river walk

My girlfriend told me that the lights stay up on the river for the first two weeks in January. I read somewhere else that they lights come down at New Year%26#39;s. Does anyone know for sure?

According to their website---www.thesanantonioriverwalk.com---the lights are on through January 1st. From the 2 to the 9 of January, the San Antonio Parks and Recreation will drain the river for annual maintenance.
