Any club/bar open after 2am?

Hi,

I am French and I%26#39;ll be in Houston in December. I started to search for bars/clubs to enjoy Houston nightlife but it seems that there is no place open after 2am, which sounds strange for your european friends. :-)

Is it correct or do you know some places to go?

The bars close at 2am because that is last call: when all alcohol sales must stop per state law.

There are after-hours venues in Houston, but they don%26#39;t serve alcohol (many are BYOB though) and I%26#39;ve personally never been as they%26#39;re typically all ages and have a bad rep for being full of drunken underaged college and high school kids.

Agree with colinaz ... if you do find the after hours clubs (after a.m.) the crowds probably won%26#39;t be what you are looking for.

You might try this Web site for a magazine in the Downtown Houston area - it lists most of the downtown area clubs near the back pages of the magazine and sometimes posts the business hours.

There are after hour clubs that both my French and Mexican friends head to after the ';clubs'; close. If you meet the right people when you are downtown... they can point you into the right direction. When will you arrive in houston?
