Where oh where to stay?

Hubby and I want to go for 3 days Oct 26-29 for our 5th anniversary and willing to spend up to about 125.00/night or so off season.

We don%26#39;t want a dump, obviously....

Likes: beachfront, for sure. A place with a party kind of atmosphere, with an outdoor bar/lounge would be nice. A nice restaurant either on premise or nearby would be nice. A king size bed and jacuzzi tub would be great.

We probably won%26#39;t really cook, but I guess a microwave and fridge (mini is fine) would be cool.

Help? I%26#39;d love to stay at the Radisson, but they%26#39;re pretty pricey. Bahia Mar has gotten terrible reviews, Holiday Inn Sunspree same thing....

Where oh where to stay?

OK. you probably won%26#39;t find the place with everything you want under the same roof. First of all, only places like the Radisson and the Sheraton have their own restaurant and neither one of those is anything to write home about. Most of the properties are condos and motels neither of which have onsight bars. The Wanna Wanna bar is associated with a motel (whose name escapes me for the moment, but you can look it up). There are plenty of bars on the island, they just don%26#39;t have sleep overs. As far as I%26#39;m concerned, the best bang for your buck is a condo and they come in all price ranges, however, even in off season $125 is on the low end. But you can save money by getting a few groceries and buying your own liquor and sitting on your own balcony and watch the waves roll in....that%26#39;s the best part about SPI anyway. Do a google search for SPI condos and see what the rates are for the time you want to go, then you can get back on here and inquire about specific ones. Don%26#39;t even consider the Bahia Mar...it%26#39;s day has come and gone.
