where should i stay?

I%26#39;m coming to Dallas for a weekend (from London) before working locally the following week. I%26#39;m meeting a friend and we want to experience the sights and sounds of Dallas. I%26#39;m struggling to decide which neighbourhood to stay in ... we like eating and drinking and the buzz of the city.

What is your price range?

I would check out:

Adolphus. There is soo much to do around the area (it%26#39;s downtown)

Hotel ZaZa would be nice as well.

If you%26#39;re looking for something a little less pricey, stay at the Springhill Suites in the Market Center area.

(You could walk everywhere you%26#39;d like to go!)

where should i stay?

You should stay Uptown. A few to chose from:

Hotel ZaZa

Crescent Court

Stoneleigh

Or the Fairmont, which is close to Uptown and is on the edge of downtown and the Arts District.

Dallas is probably much different than London. It is not a walking city. It is large and spread out. I say stay at:

1. The W Hotel (Victory)- great location, view of the city, hip bar inside (Ghost Bar)

2. Hotel ZaZa (in Uptown)

3. The Crescent (in Uptown too)

4. The Adolphus (downtown which is near uptown. Ironically, downtown is not where all the action is at night, except check out Fuse and O Bar on Main Street)

5. The Melrose (in the gay area, however close to great shopping in Highland Park, and not far from the night spots either)
