Help! Love field to Will Rogers arena???

Help! I want to come to a horse show next week. Flying Wed on Southwest into Love field. Is there any way to get to the Will Rogers arena (University %26amp; Lancaster) without an expensive airport shuttle or cab? I do not have deadlines. I can take the first flight in and last flight out. Suggestions? Thanks

This may work. DART bus (route 39) from Love Field to West transfer Station in Downtown Dallas. Buses leave Love Field every 20 minutes. Then DART rail (or walk) across town to Union Station. Then ride the Trinity Express train from downtown Dallas to Fort Worth Intermodel Center in downtown Fort Worth. Trains leave from Dallas every 30 to 60 minutes or so. Once in Fort Worth, take route 7 bus from Intermodel Center to University and Lancaster. Bus leaves every 30 minutes.
