Our family will be heading to the YO ranch for a week Christmas day. I will have my 5 year old son along too and am looking for suggestions on things to do with him while the others are off hunting. Any suggestions for at the ranch and the surrounding nearby area. thanks!!

Hi Brevin! my first and most whole-hearted suggestion is to take your little son trail riding! The ranch has many gentle, broke horses for kids to ride, and the scenery is just beautiful. They also have the ';adventure camp'; that I%26#39;m sure he will love! Then there%26#39;s all the animals, animals, everywhere! Let%26#39;s put it this way, you%26#39;re not going to run out of things to do in just a week at this ranch.

paloosa makes a great point - enjoy all the activities at the YO ranch as there%26#39;s really not much else to do in Kerrville or surrounding area.....especially for a 5 yr old. hope you have a great trip....
