Flowers

First i want to thank everyone for being so helpful about my upcoming trip to Houston the many tips you all gave,i appreciate that and i hope to return the favor if any of you come to Boston to visit and i can help you,i have one more question,i need to buy some roses for my friend,as i leave Hobby i will be driving south down I-45 any flower shops in the vicinity, easy off easy on back on the highway, and i am driving to Angelton whats the quickest way there. Thanks

Angleton - Would take I-45 South to BW-8 (West I believe -- you%26#39;ll be going to the right on Beltway 8 (aka Sam Houston Tollway). Take that to Hwy 288 (aka Nolan Ryan Expressway) and go South (to the left) and that should take you straight to Angleton. Now the tricky part is finding a floral shop in that stretch of 45 South. Can%26#39;t really think of any. However some of the large grocers have floral shops in the stores. Along the feeder road of Beltway 8 very near I-45, there is a large Kroger and a bit further up the road is an HEB. You might call them and see if they have floral depts. The Kroger I believe is at Sabo %26amp; BW-8, and the HEB at Blackhawk %26amp; BW-8.

Unless you%26#39;re trying to avoid rush hour traffic, (due to time of arrival), the beltway will actually be a longer route AND you%26#39;ll have to pay a toll or two. Just north of Hobby is loop 610, so take 45 north to 610, head west on 610 to 288 and then you%26#39;ve got a straight easy shot down to Angleton. 45 heads almost due south east, and that just pushes you further from Angleton.

I don%26#39;t have any good suggestions for easy on/easy off flowers, except to repeat the previous poster%26#39;s suggestion of grocery/supermaket purchase. They do sell flowers at the airport, but selection is limited and more expensive.

Thanks for info Texas7 %26amp; BigbadFisher
